Travis Kelce’s mom, Donna, says her son ‘loves attention’ amid Taylor Swift relationship woes!!!
Travis Kelce loves being the center of attention, according to his mom, Donna Kelce.
During a new interview with Extra, the Kelce matriarch was asked how her youngest son has been handling all the heightened fame amid his relationship with Taylor Swift.
“He’s always been one to be in the limelight. He loves attention. I mean it, he’s always dancing, always joking around, always having fun… he just loves life,” she told the outlet.
The mom of two raved that the Kansas City Chiefs athlete, 34, has a “zest for life” and “wants to make sure everybody’s laughing” and having a good time.
“It just seems like his life is on a trajectory that just is rising every single day,” she said. “Every time I turn around, I’m seeing him doing something different – whether it’s on the golf course, or at a concert, or whatever, he’s just having his best life right now.”
Donna, 71, also hinted that Travis may purposely do things –– like wear his controversial colorful outfits –– to appease other people.
“A lot of the antics that he does, whether it’s on the field or elsewhere … even with his clothes sometimes, he’s like, ‘I just want a smile out of people,’” she shared. The “Holiday Touchdown” actress expressed how proud she was of Travis for handling his newfound fame “pretty well.”
Donna –– who has spent a significant amount of time with Swift at Travis’ games –– shared the comments after she chatted with Page Six about why her son is a good match for the “Cruel Summer” singer. “He’s a good guy. He really is. He’s good. He’s kind. He’s generous. And from what I understand, so is she,” she told us at the premiere of Travis’ new show, “Grotesquerie,” in New York City on Monday.
“I hope they’re having a good time,” she continued.
Travis and Swift made their relationship public over a year ago in September 2023 when she attended one of his football games. They’ve been going strong ever since.
The Grammy winner has since cheered him on at over a dozen NFL games while he supported her at her Eras Tour concerts.
