The Pursuit of Happiness making a ton of dollar and generally reviewing well among critics.

Jaden even picked up an accolade for the film, as he won the award for Breakthrough Performance at the 2007 MTV Movie Awards. The 25-year-old’s next role came just two years later in 2008 with the Scott Derrickson science fiction film The Day the Earth Stood Still, which was a remake of the 1951 classic of the same name.

Unfortunately, that film was quite the car crash, sitting at a lowly 21 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, with fans and critics quite frankly not liking it very much.

Following an appearance in Jackie Chan’s The Karate Kid, Jaden returned with his father once more with the 2013 release of After Earth.

To put it lightly, the film was described as a disaster on all levels by many critics. The film cost $130 million to make, but only returned a lowly $60 million domestically.

It was shred to bits by critics, sitting at a 12 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Since then, Jaden has appeared in the odd movie here and there, though his presence in Hollywood and acting in general is very low.
