CNN) – President Donald Trump shared an AI-generated image of himself depicted as the pope on Truth Social Friday.
The image was then shared by the official White House account on social media

Pope Francis died of a stroke and heart failure on Easter Monday.

Trump attended his funeral last weekend.

Meanwhile, preparations are underway at the Vatican for next week’s papal conclave, where cardinals will elect the next leader of the Roman Catholic Church.
