UFC Welterweight contender Colby Covington, known for his polarizing remarks and fervent support of president-elect Donald Trump, has sparked a new wave of controversy by drawing NBA superstar LeBron James into the ongoing legal troubles surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Covington’s comments came during a press conference for his upcoming fight against Joaquin Buckley, where he linked James to Diddy’s alleged sex-trafficking scandal in a series of inflammatory statements.

During the press event, Covington referenced a four-year-old video clip of LeBron James speaking highly of attending one of Diddy’s legendary parties.

Seizing the opportunity, Covington asked, “I wanna ask LeBron, what does he mean by ‘There’s no party like a Diddy party?'” He further escalated his critique by calling James a “f****** scumbag” and suggesting he “should get locked up in the same cell with Diddy.”
Diddy, who is currently facing serious allegations of sex trafficking, rape, and drugging minors at his infamous parties, has denied all accusations, claiming the events were consensual.

However, the gravity of the charges has kept the scandal in the public eye. Despite this, James has no known connection to any misconduct or criminal activities linked to Diddy’s legal issues.
