Cardi B is going to be a mom again!
The “I Like It” rapper, 31, is pregnant and expecting her third baby, the singer confirmed on INSTAGRAM on Thursday, August 1.
“With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power!” Cardi wrote in her caption alongside a few photos of herself in a red dress, baring her belly. “Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do!”
“It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!” she concluded her post.
Cardi’s pregnancy announcement comes one day after she filed for divorce from estranged husband Offset, 32, after six years of marriage, a representative for the “Bodak Yellow” rapper confirmed to PEOPLE. “It’s not based on cheating rumors, but rather has been a long time coming,” the rep said.
The outlet reported that Cardi B, 31, is seeking primary custody of their children together, son Wave Set, Kulture Kiari 6. The divorce filing was not publicly available at press time.***
